The Association of Nuclear Veterans gathers top personalities with long-term professional career associated with nuclear power and the peaceful use of atomic energy. The Association in accordance with its focus and mission, and based on its statutes, develops activity towards the experts and public as well as the media and other groups of social communication. This activity and communication relates to the support of the development of nuclear energy and the peaceful use of the fission energy and ionizing radiation.

Through the Young Section of the Czech Nuclear Society our Association communicates with the International Youth Nuclear Congress (IYNC), which gathers young kernels from about 50 countries around the world. Based on the use of nuclear veterans’ experience in supporting research and development projects, and mutual support in subject of common interest, the Association cooperates with the faculty of the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences
and Physical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague and CENEN (Czech Nuclear Education Network) and is preparing further expansion of these activities.
